Level One

Fabric Sculpting

The magic starts with Powertex Universal Medium

Powertex is a universal medium that is highly versatile, water-based, non-toxic. weatherproof and environmentally friendly. A fabric hardener, paint and glue used to create mixed media art, crafts and sculpture.

Learn to use Powertex as an incredible fabric sculpting medium. Find out how to sculpt fantastic pieces of art without any previous experience, be taught how to use dry-brushing techniques to finish pieces to a high standard. Learn about using the full range of colours of Powertex, building armatures, working with fabrics, workshop ideas and more, all projects will be yours to take home.

All materials and refreshments included. Please bring your lunch with you each day.

On completing this training you will receive an official Powertex Tutor certificate and will be permitted to use the Powertex name when promoting your work.

After completion of the Fabric Sculpting course, you will receive a trade discount.

Completion of Level One Fabric Sculpting is essential before undertaking any further Tutor Training courses.

Further Tutor Training

Level 2

Stone Art Training

Over two consecutive days, learn to use Powertex Stone Art by making several projects to take home, giving you the confidence to take your work to the next level.

This course assumes you have some working knowledge of Powertex already.

You will learn

how to create the famous stone effect

how to use Stone Art with Powertex to create air-dry clay

how use traditional bister inks with Stone Art

All projects will be yours to take home.

Level 3

Mixed Media

Over two consecutive days, you will complete to projects using a range of wonderful Powertex Mixed Media products designed to support artistic and creative choice.

This course assumes you have some working knowledge of Powertex already.

You will learn

A range of mixed media techniques and applications

Understand composition, colours and blending, embellishment placement

How to use Rusty powder

All projects will be yours to take home.

Level 4

Easy 3D Flex

Over two consecutive days, you will complete to projects using a range of wonderful Powertex Mixed Media products designed to support artistic and creative choice.

This course assumes you have some working knowledge of Powertex already.

You will learn

A range of mixed media techniques and applications

Understand composition, colours and blending, embellishment placement

How to use Rusty powder

All projects will be yours to take home.
